RESUMEN.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Objetivos:<\/strong> Determinar la prevalencia de ausencia de seroprotecci\u00f3n frente a sarampi\u00f3n en un grupo de trabajadores de un hospital terciario de Madrid, tramos de edad en los que se encuentran \u00e9stos y las categor\u00edas profesionales m\u00e1s expuestas.<\/p>\n

Material y M\u00e9todos:<\/strong> Se recogieron las serolog\u00edas de IgG frente a sarampi\u00f3n de trabajadores del Hospital Fundaci\u00f3n Jim\u00e9nez D\u00edaz en reconocimientos m\u00e9dicos y estudios de contacto desde 2004 hasta 2019.<\/p>\n

Resultados:<\/strong> De los 2614 trabajadores estudiados, un 5,81% no presentan inmunidad al sarampi\u00f3n, siendo un 2,91% con resultado de IgG negativo y un 2,91% con resultado indeterminado.<\/p>\n

Conclusiones:<\/strong> Parece de utilidad realizar serolog\u00edas dirigidas a personal sanitario con riesgo de exposici\u00f3n a enfermedades de transmisi\u00f3n por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea.<\/p>\n

MEASLES IMMUNE RESPONSE: USE OF SEROLOGY BEFORE VACCINATION IN HEALTHCARE WORKERS.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/strong> To establish the prevalence of absence of measles immunization in a cohort of healthcare workers of a tertiary hospital in Madrid, the age brackets and the most exposed occupational categories.<\/p>\n

Material and Methods:<\/strong> Measles IgG antibodies of a cohort of healthcare workers of University Hospital Fundaci\u00f3n Jim\u00e9nez D\u00edaz were collected from medical examinations and contacts studies from 2004 until 2019.<\/p>\n

Results:<\/strong> From 2614 studied healthcare workers, a 5,81% did not reveal measles immunity, with a 2,91% negative IgG result and a 2,91% with undetermined IgG result.<\/p>\n

Conclusions:<\/strong> Focused serology studies on healthcare workers with exposure risk to airborne transmitted infections seem to be useful.<\/p>\n
