RESUMEN.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Antecedentes:<\/strong> La seroprotecci\u00f3n para el VHB se define como anti-HBs \u226510 UI tras 3 dosis. Los estudios describen tasas de respuesta del 78-95%, y en sanitarios residentes vacunados previamente, entre un 28-60%.<\/p>\n

Objetivos:<\/strong> Evaluar la seroprotecci\u00f3n frente al VHB en residentes reci\u00e9n incorporados y comparar las tasas observadas en la literatura. Realizar asociaciones casu\u00edsticas entre las titulaciones de VHB y registros vacunales.<\/p>\n

Material y M\u00e9todos:<\/strong> Estudio observacional de 183 residentes del Hospital Cl\u00ednico de Valencia y el Hospital General de Castell\u00f3n en 2025. Se recogieron dosis previas de vacuna VHB, anti-HBs basal y necesidad de dosis de refuerzo seg\u00fan protocolos.<\/p>\n

Resultados y Conclusiones:<\/strong> En esta cohorte, la proporci\u00f3n de seroprotecci\u00f3n tras una pauta documentada de tres dosis es baja (38,3%) seg\u00fan la literatura publicada, lo que apoya la determinaci\u00f3n sistem\u00e1tica de anti-HBs al ingreso y la administraci\u00f3n selectiva de dosis de refuerzo. Se evidenciaron asociaciones de Chi2 de anticuerpos de VHB en enfermeras (p<0,01); y en espa\u00f1oles (p<0,01).<\/p>\n

Title: <\/strong>SEROLOGICAL RESPONSE TO HEPATITIS B VIRUS (HBV) VACCINATION IN NEWLY ADMITTED HEALTHCARE RESIDENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Background:<\/strong> HBV seroprotection is defined as anti-HBs \u226510 IU after three doses. Clinical trials describe response rates of 78\u2013 95%, and follow-up studies of healthcare residents vaccinated in childhood show between 28% and 60%.<\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/strong> To evaluate HBV seroprotection in newly admitted residents and compare the observed rates with those described in the literature. To establish associations between HBV titers and vaccination records.<\/p>\n

Materials and Methods:<\/strong> Observational study of 183 residents who joined the Hospital Cl\u00ednico de Valencia and the Hospital General de Castell\u00f3n in 2025. Previous doses of HBV vaccine, baseline anti-HBs levels, and the need for booster doses according to protocols were collected.<\/p>\n

Results and Conclusions:<\/strong> In this cohort of residents, the proportion of seroprotection after a documented three-dose regimen is low compared to published data, supporting the systematic determination of anti-HBs levels and booster doses. It was seen evidences with Chi2 method, for antibodys of HBV with nurses (p<0,01) and with Spaniards (p<0,01).<\/p>\n
