Objetivo:<\/strong> establecer la relaci\u00f3n entre el nivel de conocimiento sobre riesgos ergon\u00f3micos y s\u00edntomas de trastornos m\u00fasculo esquel\u00e9ticos (TME) en personal sanitario.<\/p>\n

Material y M\u00e9todo:<\/strong> estudio descriptivo, observacional, transversal de correlaci\u00f3n durante 2017-2018 en un hospital de Yurimaguas, Per\u00fa, en una muestra conveniente de 133 trabajadores encuestados seg\u00fan criterios de selecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Resultados:<\/strong> la edad promedio fue 39.74\u00b17.33, 66.2% fueron t\u00e9cnicos; 67.7% del g\u00e9nero femenino y 10\u00b16.14 a\u00f1os de experiencia laboral. El nivel de conocimiento medio registr\u00f3 57.9% y bajo 27.1%; 51.9% tuvieron s\u00edntomas, dolor en 100.0%, 92.7% en espalda baja y mayormente al final del d\u00eda de trabajo y entre 3 a 6 meses. Hubo diferencia altamente significativa entre nivel de conocimiento y s\u00edntomas (X2=38.17;\u00a0p=0.000), espec\u00edficamente el bajo (p=0.000); el t\u00e9cnico y la experiencia laboral \u22645 a\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n mostraron diferencia significativa con la sintomatolog\u00eda. Conclusiones: el conocimiento se relacion\u00f3 con los s\u00edntomas de TME. Se sugiere mejorarlo, considerar los instrumentos utilizados, capacitaci\u00f3n adecuada e investigaciones seg\u00fan tipo de trabajador.<\/p>\n

Title:\u00a0 LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE ON ERGONOMIC RISK IN RELATION TO SYMPTOMS OF MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS IN HEALTH PERSONNEL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Objective:<\/strong> to stablish the relationship between the level of knowledge on ergonomic risk and symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in health personnel.<\/p>\n

Material and Methods:<\/strong> a descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional and correlational study during 2017-2018 in a hospital of Yurimaguas, Per\u00fa, in a convenience sample of 133 workers surveyed according to selection criteria.<\/p>\n

Results:<\/strong> the mean age was 39.74\u00b17.33, 66.2% were nursing technicians; 67.7% were female and 10 \u00b1 6.14 years of work experience. Medium level of knowledge was registered in 57.9% and low in 27.1%; 51.9% had symptoms, 100% had pain, 92.7% in low back and mostly at the end of the workday and between 3 and 6 months. There was a highly significant difference between level of knowledge and symptoms (X2=38.17; p=0.000), specifically low level (p=0.000); nursing technician and \u22645 years work experience time also showed significant difference with symptoms. Conclusions: the knowledge was related to the symptoms of MSDs. It is suggested to improve it, also considering the instruments used, adequate training and research according to the type of worker.<\/p>\n
