RESUMEN.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Introducci\u00f3n:<\/strong> Existen enfermedades profesionales asociadas a agentes cancer\u00edgenos con largos periodos de latencia, que requieren una \u201cVigilancia de la Salud Postocupacional\u201d m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del cese de la exposici\u00f3n al riesgo. El objetivo de este art\u00edculo es analizar la evidencia cient\u00edfica existente para determinar necesidades de divulgaci\u00f3n e intervenciones.<\/p>\n

Material y M\u00e9todos:<\/strong> Revisi\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica de art\u00edculos en las bases de datos de Medline y Google Acad\u00e9mico, con enfoque narrativo.<\/p>\n

Resultados:<\/strong> 16 art\u00edculos revisados y sintetizados por ejes tem\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n

Discusi\u00f3n y conclusiones:<\/strong> Es necesario ampliar la investigaci\u00f3n hacia nuevos agentes carcinog\u00e9nicos, factores predisponentes y exposiciones mixtas, as\u00ed como prolongar m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la jubilaci\u00f3n los \u201cProtocolos de Vigilancia Postocupacional\u201d y actualizar sus modelos predictivos, valores l\u00edmite de exposici\u00f3n, periodicidad y pruebas de cribado, e individualizarlos. Se requiere m\u00e1s formaci\u00f3n, informaci\u00f3n, sensibilizaci\u00f3n, normalizaci\u00f3n y coordinaci\u00f3n entre sistemas sanitarios de estos protocolos de detecci\u00f3n precoz de enfermedades profesionales carcinog\u00e9nicas.<\/p>\n

Title: <\/strong>MANDATORY \u201cPOST-OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SURVEILLANCE\u201d IN WORKERS EXPOSED TO <\/strong>CARCINOGENIC AGENTS. A LITERATURE REVIEW.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Introduction:<\/strong> Certain occupational diseases associated with carcinogenic agents have long latency periods and require Post-occupational Health Surveillance beyond the cessation of exposure to risk. The aim of this article is to analyse the existing scientific evidence in order to identify dissemination needs and potential interventions.<\/p>\n

Material and methods:<\/strong> Literature review of articles in the Medline and Google Scholar databases, with narrative perspective.<\/p>\n

Results:<\/strong> 16 articles were reviewed and synthesised according to thematic axes.<\/p>\n

Discussion and conclusions:<\/strong> It is necessary to broaden research to include new carcinogenic agents, predisposing factors and mixed exposures, as well as to extend Post-occupational Surveillance Protocols beyond retirement age and to update their predictive models, exposure limit values, periodicity, screening tests, and individualisation. Increased training, information, awareness-raising, standardisation and coordination across healthcare systems is required for these protocols aimed at the early detection of carcinogenic occupational diseases.<\/p>\n
