La t\u00e9cnica de an\u00e1lisis es estad\u00edstica y para su interpretaci\u00f3n se utilizaron fuentes documentales y estad\u00edsticas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Resultados:<\/strong> la media de edad del plantel es 47.9. La mayor\u00eda de las licencias fueron de corta duraci\u00f3n (73% duran de 1 a 3 d\u00edas); el absentismo es mayor en mujeres (67% del total); las licencias por enfermedad inciden en promedio en 12 puntos m\u00e1s en el plantel de mujeres que en el de varones y son ellas quienes denotan m\u00e1s licencias por cuidados. La pandemia no cambi\u00f3 sustancialmente el tipo de licencias, su composici\u00f3n y comportamiento. La distribuci\u00f3n de las licencias de corta duraci\u00f3n denota el modo de afrontar el agotamiento laboral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Title: <\/strong><strong>ABSENTEEISM AND HEALTH IN UNIVERSITY WORKERS OF <\/strong><strong>MENDOZA-ARGENTINA (2019-2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objective:<\/strong> To analyze the Occupational Health and Workplace Absenteeism in higher education workers during 2019-2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Material and Methods:<\/strong> A quantitative-descriptive study.\u00a0 A total of 41547 registered leaves were analyzed during the study period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Results:<\/strong> The average age of the staff is 47.9. The majority of the leaves were short-term: 73% lasted between 1 and 3 days. The absenteeism is higher among women: 67% of the total. Sick leave affects the female staff on average 12 percentage points more than the male staff, and women also show a higher number of leaves for caregiving. Family-related caregiving leaves affect women most significantly. The data shows that even though the pandemic meant a disruption of daily life and a retreat of workers into their homes, it did not substantially change the type of leave, its composition, or its annual behavior.
