Sin embargo, se ha descubierto que el uso intensivo del rat\u00f3n como dispositivo de entrada se asocia con s\u00edntomas de trastornos musculoesquel\u00e9ticos de las extremidades superiores<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objetivo:<\/strong> El presente estudio pretende abordar el efecto derivado del uso del rat\u00f3n ergon\u00f3mico entre profesionales del Servicio Navarro de Salud-Osasunbidea, con especial atenci\u00f3n a la reducci\u00f3n de s\u00edntomas y la mejora de funcionalidad en usuarios con patolog\u00eda de codo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Material y M\u00e9todos:<\/strong> Estudio observacional prospectivo, estructurado en dos momentos de recogida de informaci\u00f3n, tras sustituir rat\u00f3n convencional (RC) por un rat\u00f3n ergon\u00f3mico (RE). Se invit\u00f3 a participar a los profesionales que cumpl\u00edan la condici\u00f3n y dispon\u00edan de RE desde al menos 1 mes. Los reportes de los s\u00edntomas se midieron con la versi\u00f3n abreviada del Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ) y el Oxford Elbow Score (OES).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Resultados:<\/strong> Un total de 27 participantes reportaron dolencias en el codo. El OES mostr\u00f3 una mejor\u00eda cl\u00ednica y estad\u00edsticamente significativa tras el cambio. Las puntuaciones medias globales aumentaron de 31,1 puntos (IC95%: 27,4\u201334,8) antes a 41,8 puntos (IC95%: 38,9\u201344,8) despu\u00e9s, con incrementos consistentes en pr\u00e1cticamente todos los \u00edtems, especialmente en actividades funcionales y control del dolor. El an\u00e1lisis de muestras emparejadas evidencia una diferencia media de 0,83 puntos (IC95%: 0,66\u20131; p&lt;0,001), respaldada por una alta correlaci\u00f3n intrapares (r=0,775; p&lt;0,003), indicando cambios homog\u00e9neos entre sujetos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusi\u00f3n:<\/strong> El estudio demuestra que la intervenci\u00f3n aplicada produce una mejor\u00eda estad\u00edstica y cl\u00ednicamente relevante en la funci\u00f3n del codo y en el dolor percibido, seg\u00fan la Escala Oxford de Codo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Title: <\/strong><strong>STUDY APPROACH THE ERGONOMIC IMPACT OF USING ERGONOMIC MICE IN THE HEALTHCARE SETTING. PART TWO: ELBOW. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Observational study before and after the change of ergonomic mouse in healthcare personnel with elbow pathology, based on the Oxford questionnaire.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Introduction:<\/strong> With the advancement of computer development, the mouse has become a standard peripheral device. However, intensive use of the mouse as an input device has been found to be associated with symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders of the upper extremities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objective:<\/strong> This study aims to address the effect derived from the use of an ergonomic mouse among professionals of the Navarre Health Service-Osasunbidea, with special attention to the reduction of symptoms and the improvement of functionality in users with elbow pathology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Material and Methods:<\/strong> This was a prospective observational study, structured with two data collection points, after replacing a conventional mouse (CM) with an ergonomic mouse (EM). Professionals who met the criteria and had been using an EM for at least one month were invited to participate. Symptom reports were measured using the abbreviated version of the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ) and the Oxford Elbow Score (OES).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Results:<\/strong> A total of 27 participants reported elbow pain. The OES showed clinically and statistically significant improvement after the change. Mean overall scores increased from 31.1 points (95% CI: 27.4\u201334.8) before to 41.8 points (95% CI: 38.9\u201344.8) after, with consistent increases in almost all items, particularly in functional activities and pain control.
