Un estudio de casos y controles en trabajadores expuestos a agentes qu\u00edmicos.\" class=\"button_  default medium\"><strong>PDF del Art\u00edculo<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<p><strong>RESUMEN.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Introducci\u00f3n:<\/strong> En parte de la literatura cient\u00edfica, se relaciona la exposici\u00f3n laboral a ciertos agentes qu\u00edmicos con mayor riesgo de padecer C\u00e1ncer de P\u00e1ncreas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objetivo:<\/strong> Este estudio pretende analizar si la poblaci\u00f3n expuesta a dichos agentes en Asturias tiene m\u00e1s riesgo de padecer la enfermedad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Material y M\u00e9todos:<\/strong> Se dise\u00f1\u00f3 un estudio observacional de casos y controles a partir de pacientes diagnosticados de C\u00e1ncer de P\u00e1ncreas en Asturias entre el 1 de enero de 2014 y el 31 de diciembre de 2019. Como controles se estudi\u00f3 a los familiares de los casos del mismo sexo biol\u00f3gico y edad similar, sin diagn\u00f3stico de enfermedad. Para la obtenci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n se revisaron historias cl\u00ednicas y se hicieron entrevistas telef\u00f3nicas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Resultados y Conclusiones:<\/strong> Las exposiciones a aminas, amianto, hidrocarburos y cromo se establecieron como factores de riesgo de enfermedad. El personal que trabaj\u00f3 en tareas de soldadura, electricidad y miner\u00eda tuvo mayor probabilidad de enfermar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Title: OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE AND PANCREATIC NEOPLASM IN ASTURIAS: A CASE-CONTROL STUDY IN WORKERS EXPOSED TO CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Introduction:<\/strong> Scientific literature indicates that occupational exposure to certain chemical agents is related to a greater risk of suffering from Pancreatic Cancer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong> This study aims to analyze whether the population exposed to these agents in Asturias has a greater risk of suffering from the disease.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Material and Methods:<\/strong> An observational case-control study was designed based on patients diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in Asturias between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2019. As controls, the relatives of the cases of the same biological sex and similar age, without diagnosis of disease. To obtain information, medical records were reviewed and telephone interviews were conducted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results and conclusions:<\/strong> Exposures to amines, asbestos, hydrocarbons and chromium were established as risk factors for disease.
