Hasta el momento, la evidencia disponible se orienta al estudio de patolog\u00edas espec\u00edficas sin recoger todos los posibles efectos adversos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Material y M\u00e9todos:<\/strong> Revisi\u00f3n sistem\u00e1tica (RS) de la literatura publicada hasta enero 2023. Las bases de datos consultadas fueron PubMed, EMBASE, LILACS y Cochrane. Los descriptores utilizados fueron \u201cAdverse effects\u201d, \u201cCosmic Radiation\u201d, y \u201cAeronautic\u201d. Se incluyeron estudios con informaci\u00f3n sobre eventos adversos de la radiaci\u00f3n c\u00f3smica en trabajadores expuestos. Se evalu\u00f3 la calidad de la evidencia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Resultados:<\/strong> Se incluyeron 27 estudios (11 RS y 16 observacionales). Algunos estudios encontraron que los trabajadores aeron\u00e1uticos ten\u00edan mayor riesgo neopl\u00e1sico (c\u00e1ncer de mama, cerebro, leucemia y melanoma) y de cataratas nucleares. Sin embargo, otros estudios no describieron el desarrollo de enfermedades neopl\u00e1sicas ni otras patolog\u00edas estudiadas (gen\u00e9ticas, ginecol\u00f3gicas o cardiovasculares) por radiaciones ionizantes. La calidad de las RS (AMSTAR\u20132) fue cr\u00edticamente baja en la mayor\u00eda, y los estudios observacionales (STROBE) obtuvieron una media de alrededor del 72%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusiones:<\/strong> La evidencia disponible no permite encontrar causalidad directa entre exposici\u00f3n a radiaci\u00f3n c\u00f3smica y aparici\u00f3n de patolog\u00edas en personal expuesto. Se consideran necesarios nuevos estudios bien dise\u00f1ados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Title: SIDE EFFECTS OF COSMIC RADIATION ON AERONAUTIC PERSONNEL: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Introduction:<\/strong> Aircrew and astronauts are subject to cosmic radiation as part of their jobs and could be associated with various pathological effects. Until now, available evidence is oriented to the study of specific pathologies without consideration of all possible adverse effects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Method:<\/strong> A systematic review (SR) from literature found until 2023 January. The databases included were PubMed, EMBASE, LILACS and Cochrane. The following descriptors used \u201cAdverse effects\u201d \u201cCosmic Radiation\u201d and \u201cAeronautic\u201d. Included studies had information on adverse effects of cosmic radiation in exposed workers. We assessed the quality of the evidence.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Results:<\/strong> 27 studies were included (11 SR and 16 observational). Some articles determined that aeronautic personnel have a higher c\u00e1ncer risk (breast, brain, leukemia and melanoma) and nuclear cataracts. However, other studies did not describe neoplastic diseases or other studied pathologies (genetics, gynecological, cardiovascular) due to ionizing radiation. The quality of the SR (AMSTAR-2) was critically low in the vast majority and the average quality for observational studies (STROBE) around 72%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusions:<\/strong> Available evidence does not allow us to find direct causality between exposure to cosmic radiation and the appearance of pathologies in exposed personnel.
