Rev Asoc Esp Espec Med Trab 2024; 33(4):435-448<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Acceso al PDF: <div class=\"button_wrapper \"><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.aeemt.org\/Revista_AEEMT\/VOL_33_N04_2024_DIC\/435-448%20Original_7.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Perfil de absentismo de trabajadores de una empresa colombiana del sector retail\" class=\"button_  default medium\"><strong>PDF del Art\u00edculo<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<p><strong>RESUMEN.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objeto:<\/strong> Analizar la relaci\u00f3n del absentismo laboral con el sobrepeso y la obesidad en una empresa colombiana del Retail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Material y M\u00e9todos:<\/strong> Se trata de un estudio cuantitativo, de corte trasversal con intensi\u00f3n anal\u00edtica, donde participaron 8531 trabajadores entre los 18 y 65 a\u00f1os, empleados en los \u00faltimos cuatro a\u00f1os, a cada empleado se le realiz\u00f3 una encuesta de h\u00e1bitos de vida, una valoraci\u00f3n nutricional que inclu\u00eda medidas antropom\u00e9tricas y adem\u00e1s una medici\u00f3n de composici\u00f3n corporal por medio de bioimpedanciometria. Se realizaron an\u00e1lisis univariado y bivariados con la prueba estad\u00edstica chicuadrado de independencias y medidas epidemiol\u00f3gicas RP acompa\u00f1adas de sus IC95%, y para la construcci\u00f3n del perfil se realiz\u00f3 por un an\u00e1lisis de correspondencia m\u00faltiple.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Resultados:<\/strong> Se present\u00f3 un 24,53% de absentismo, encontrando diferencias estad\u00edsticas significativas y mayor probabilidad de presentar un mayor absentismo para las mujeres RP 1,34 (1,24 -1,45), edades entre 39 Y 48 RP 1,86 (1,66 \u2013 2,09) y los 49 y 58 a\u00f1os RP 2,25 (2,00 \u2013 2,54), y en las personas que tienen sobrepeso RP 1,69 (1,16 -2,48). disminuye el absentismo cuanto no presentan riesgo nutricional RP 0,51 (0,43 \u2013 0,59) y cuando la actividad f\u00edsica es muy fuerte RP 0,49 (0,33 \u2013 0,72), es as\u00ed como se encontr\u00f3 un perfil de absentismo as\u00ed: mujeres, mayores de 39 a\u00f1os, con IMC en sobrepeso, clasificaci\u00f3n nutricional en riesgo alto y muy alto, porcentaje de grasa en obesidad y no realizan actividad f\u00edsica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusi\u00f3n:<\/strong> En los trabajadores de una empresa del sector retail, se observ\u00f3 una mayor tendencia al absentismo asociado al sobrepeso y la obesidad. Es recomendable implementar programas de bienestar laboral para mejorar la salud f\u00edsica, el bienestar general y la productividad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Title: ABSENTEEISM PROFILE OF WORKERS IN A COLOMBIAN COMPANY IN THE RETAIL SECTOR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objective:<\/strong> To analyze the relationship between absenteeism and overweight and obesity in a Colombian retail company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Magterial and Methods:<\/strong> This is a quantitative, cross-sectional study with analytical intent, in which 8531 workers between 18 and 65 years of age, employed in the last four years, participated. Each employee underwent a life habits survey, a nutritional assessment that included anthropometric measurements and also a measurement of body composition by means of bioimpedanciometry. Univariate and bivariate analyses were performed with the chi-square statistical test of independence and RP epidemiological measures accompanied by their 95%CI, and for the construction of the profile a multiple correspondence<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">analysis was performed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Results:<\/strong> There was a 24.53% absenteeism, finding significant statistical differences and a higher probability of presenting a higher absenteeism for women RP 1.34 (1.24 -1.45), ages between 39 and 48 RP 1.86 (1.66 \u2013 2.09) and 49 and 58 years RP 2.25 (2.00 \u2013 2.54), and in people who are overweight RP 1.69 (1.16 -2.48). Absenteeism decreases when they do not present nutritional risk RP 0.51 (0.43 \u2013 0.59) and when physical activity is very strong RP 0.49 (0.33 \u2013 0.72), thus a profile of absenteeism was found as follows: women, older than 39 years, with BMI in overweight, nutritional classification in high and very high risk, percentage of fat in obesity and do not perform physical activity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusion:<\/strong> A greater tendency to absenteeism associated with overweight and obesity was observed in the workers of a retail sector company.
