Rev Asoc Esp Espec Med Trab 2024; 33(3): 305-315<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Acceso al PDF: <div class=\"button_wrapper \"><a  href=\"https:\/\/www.aeemt.org\/Revista_AEEMT\/VOL_33_N03_2024_SEP\/305-315%20Original_3.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Factores asociados al S\u00edndrome de Burnout en el personal de enfermer\u00eda de la Unidad Materno Infantil Bloque Pedi\u00e1trico de una instituci\u00f3n prestadora de salud, Popay\u00e1n a\u00f1o 2015\" class=\"button_  default medium\"><strong>PDF del Art\u00edculo<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<p><strong>RESUMEN.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objetivo:<\/strong> Identificar los factores asociados al s\u00edndrome de burnout y sus dimensiones (agotamiento emocional despersonalizaci\u00f3n y realizaci\u00f3n personal) en el personal de enfermer\u00eda de la unidad materno infantil bloque pedi\u00e1trico de una instituci\u00f3n p\u00fablica prestadora de salud.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Material y M\u00e9todos:<\/strong> Estudio de tipo descriptivo, de corte transversal, se cont\u00f3 con una poblaci\u00f3n de 90 trabajadores entre enfermeras(os) y auxiliares de enfermer\u00eda del \u00e1rea. Se aplic\u00f3 un cuestionario sobre datos sociodemogr\u00e1ficos y laborales, el cual se correlaciono con la escala Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), adaptada y validada para servicios de salud en Colombia. Se obtuvo un modelo de regresi\u00f3n log\u00edstica con las variables estad\u00edsticamente significativas identificadas en el an\u00e1lisis bivariado (P&lt;0,05).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Resultados:<\/strong> La prevalencia del s\u00edndrome de burnout fue baja, de 3,3%. El 20% present\u00f3 un alto nivel de Agotamiento Emocional, el 14,4% alta Despersonalizaci\u00f3n y el 11,1% un nivel bajo en Realizaci\u00f3n Personal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conclusiones:<\/strong> Al analizar cada dimensi\u00f3n en el modelo multivariado, no se encontraron variables sociodemogr\u00e1ficas que se comporten como factores de riesgo, pero si variables del \u00e1mbito laboral como presentismo laboral y tener alg\u00fan estresor de tipo ambiental o de relaciones humanas. Tambi\u00e9n se encontraron variables que pueden disminuir el riesgo de presentar el s\u00edndrome tales como ser mayor de 35 a\u00f1os, pertenecer al sexo masculino y presentar incapacidad medico laboral.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Title: ASSOCIATED FACTORS WITH BURNOUT SYNDROME IN THE NURSING STAFF OF THE MATERNAL AND CHILD UNIT OF A HEALTH CARE INSTITUTION, POPAY\u00c1N, 2015<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong> to identify factors associated with burnout syndrome and its impact in nursing staff at the maternal child unit, a pediatric section of a public and health care institution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Material and Methods:<\/strong> A Cross-sectional, descriptive study was performed among 90 participants including nurses and nurse assistants who were working in a pediatric area. A questionnaire composed of a sociodemographic and labor data was used. This questionnaire was correlated with the Maslach Burnout Inventory scale (MBI) which is adapted and validated for health care services in Colombia. A logistic regression model was used with the statistically significant variables which were identified in the bivariate analysis (P&lt; 0,05).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong> the resulting values were prevalence of the burnout syndrome was 3,3%. Emotional exhaustion was presented in 20%, 14,4% presented high depersonalization and 11,1% presented low personal fulfillment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusions:<\/strong> Analyzing each dimension of the multivariate model it was found that there were no socio-demographic variables that behave as a risk factor; but Laboral variables such as experience time, Laboral presentism, or having an environmental or human relations stressor were considered as a risk factor.
