RESUMEN.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Introducci\u00f3n:<\/strong> Los profesionales de la salud ocupacional (SO) han tenido un rol importante en la vigilancia, prevenci\u00f3n y control frente al COVID-19 en los lugares de trabajo.<\/p>\n

Objetivo:<\/strong> Determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a la exposici\u00f3n al SARS-CoV-2 durante la pandemia en Per\u00fa durante la primera y segunda ola.<\/p>\n

Material y M\u00e9todos:<\/strong> Estudio transversal anal\u00edtico, de an\u00e1lisis secundario de datos. Se pregunt\u00f3 a diversos profesionales de la SO acerca de su exposici\u00f3n a trabajadores con COVID-19 durante su labor, esto a trav\u00e9s de una encuesta virtual; a ello se asoci\u00f3 diversos factores sociales, educativos y laborales.<\/p>\n

Resultados:<\/strong> De los 2 863 encuestados, en el an\u00e1lisis multivariado hubo m\u00e1s frecuencia de exposici\u00f3n a pacientes COVID-19 en los sectores de miner\u00eda (p=0,046), alimentaci\u00f3n (p=0,009), en el sector p\u00fablico (p<0,001), manufactura (p<0,001), si el profesional realiza\u00a0labor asistencial (p<0,001), si realiza evaluaciones m\u00e9dicas (p=0,001), que sean t\u00e9cnicos de enfermer\u00eda (p=0,016) y que sean tecn\u00f3logos m\u00e9dicos (p<0,001); en cambio, hubo menos exposici\u00f3n a pacientes COVID-19 conforme se ten\u00eda m\u00e1s edad (p=0,006) y entre los que ten\u00edan especialidad en salud ocupacional (p=0,025).<\/p>\n

Discusi\u00f3n:<\/strong> Se encontraron importantes factores que se asocian a la exposici\u00f3n laboral de los profesionales de la SO, los que pueden servir para priorizar a los profesionales que deban cuidarse y acceder oportunamente al esquema de vacunaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Introduction:<\/strong> Occupational health professionals (OHP) have played an important role in surveillance, prevention and control against COVID-19 at the workplace.<\/p>\n

Objective:<\/strong> To determine the risk factors associated with exposure to SARS-CoV-2 during the first and second waves of the Pandemic in Peru.<\/p>\n

Material and Methods:<\/strong> A cross-sectional study and secondary data analysis were made. OHP were virtually asked about exposed to COVID-19 at work and its social, educational and labor factors.<\/p>\n

Results:<\/strong> Of the 2,863 answers, we found in the multivariate analysis: there was more frequency of exposure to COVID-19 in the mining (p value=0.046); nutrition sector (p value=0.009); in the public sector\u00a0technologists (p value<0.001); On the other hand, there were less exposure when they were older (p value=0.006) and among those who had a specialty in occupational health (p value=0.025).<\/p>\n

Discussion:<\/strong> Important factors were associated with occupational exposure of OHP professionals, which can serve to prioritize professionals who should take care of themselves and to include into complete vaccination schedule.<\/p>\n
