La Sensibilidad Qu\u00edmica M\u00faltiple es una entidad controvertida y todav\u00eda desconocida. Conocer los criterios diagn\u00f3sticos y el manejo de los pacientes que la padecen por parte los m\u00e9dicos del trabajo es importante debido a la afectaci\u00f3n que puede ocasionar en el \u00e1mbito laboral.<\/p>\n

En este art\u00edculo se realiza una revisi\u00f3n de los conocimientos actuales, y sus repercusiones laborales.<\/p>\n

Se reporta el caso de una trabajadora con sospecha de padecerla y las recomendaciones adaptativas que se realizaron desde el Servicio de Prevenci\u00f3n de Riesgos Laborales.<\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) is a controversial and little understood entity. It is important for occupational health physicians to know about its diagnostic criteria and understand how to manage patients suffering from MCS because of the significant impact it can have in the work environments.<\/p>\n

Here we review the current knowledge of MCS and its repercussions in the workplace.<\/p>\n

We report the case of an employee suspected of having MCS and the adaptive recommendations made by our Occupational Health Service in response to it.<\/p>\n
